The second image is my favorite, and the one I find to be the most striking. I love the marriage of the shadows and light, and I think it has a great balance of hardness and softness. It remind me of black and white photography (of which I'm a huge fan), especially with the depth of the shadows, but with perfect color placement added. And honestly, it just makes me feel good to look at it! : )
ReplyDeleteThanks for your entry Laine. I learned on B & W (old school I know!) but I think learning that way before jumping to color helped me undestand contast and the importance it holds.. :)
DeleteThe second entry is my favorite, i like the single focus point and the blacked/blurred back ground. I like the lines and the color. Its simple, yet interesting to the eye..It looks like something I would have taken a photo of!
