Overall, it's been a whirlwind, but I am so pleased with how it's all coming along. And along the way I have had some moments of fun.

July 2013.
Life doesn't stop for one of my dear friends in Rosebud. She's on the move all day and gets more done in a day than 2-5 other folks. She is an inspiration, to say the least. If I only had 1/10th of her energy. In one day, yesterday, I believe, she retrieved her dog from the vet, made a trip to get the ringer washer, picked up the tent for the Rural MO Spinners this weekend, tried to bale hay...unsuccessful because of baler problems), endured the brutal heat and humidity, and got to do a load of laundry in her new washer right before dark. Oh, I can't forget the daily feeding/watering of the sheep, goats (fiber & milk), cow/calf, llamas, alpacas, chickens/geese/peacocks/ducks, angora rabbits...and milking of goats. And I bet she did some knitting/crocheting after dark when she finally sat down. Although in between tasks, she's probably in the kitchen canning something to sell at the farmer's market. And she does things for herself too. Last weekend, Fiber Fling; this weekend, MO Spinners; sometimes wineries; and even traveling halfway across the country to pick up a new sheep/goat becomes an adventure. The best of the best is the occasional visit by her adorable grandson. They are like soul mates! And he's all of 4. For Kathy, it never ends.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great day of hanging out and catching up!! Thanks for the reminder to slow down and enjoy life!

Your energy is an inspiration to me, Michelle :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought I had a busy summer. For your toilet issue, why not shoot what is on the back of the toilet.
ReplyDeleteI did a different solution! See facebook, but thanks for the suggestion! I got your suggestion after I came up with my shot! LOL :)
DeleteI did that for my personal 2nd runner up, and used both seat and tank for the challenge. It was fun! Not as beautiful as those by Michelle Ann & Slava.
DeleteAwe! Michelle Anne of MK Designs thanks you so much! :) And Slava would/will too I bet! So appreciated!
